I loved the Guardians movie! And I can’t wait to see more from these characters. Ive been very busy with work at the moment so I have don’t much art but as soon as I saw this Groot image (Linked Below) I had to make a 3D version of Groot, no idea why it didn’t come to me sooner but If it wasn’t for Kate-FoX I would have been sitting in my room twiddling my thumbs waiting for another day of work to roll over :-p




The Make

Fimo is a very easy to use oven bake clay. I have used it many times before but this is the first time I’ve cooked in stages. Started with the skeleton and built it up cooking each new section for 10 minutes finishing with the head. I’m making him a like pot to sit in but I really wanted to make him little legs that I imagine are hidden in the dirt.
